Why should you trust us?
SwissLuxury has been selling Rolex watches since 1997 and is in good
standing with
the Better Business Bureau
Dun & Bradstreet, Wells Fargo, American Express, VISA, MasterCard,
Discover, eBay (eBay User ID: "swissluxurycom"), etc. Our website represents a significant long-term financial investment
that has been sustained through fair and honest business practices.
How much will you be paid?
New Rolex watches are sold to retail stores for approximately 40% off
their retail price. This means that the dealer cost for a new Rolex with a
$10,000 retail price is about $6,000. Therefore a used model of the same
watch might be worth as much as $4,000 to $5,000. Condition, age, and model
popularity are also factors in determining the value of your timepiece. The
table below shows examples of what we have recently offered for certain Rolex
models. You will also receive an additional $200 - $500 credit if you apply
your trade-in toward the purchase of a new watch rather than a straight cash
payment.

How to determine the Model and Serial Number of a Rolex?
The Model and Serial Number should be printed on the Official Rolex
Warranty Certificate that came with the watch when it was purchased new, and
it
may be printed on a green tag that came with the watch. These numbers
are also engraved on the watch, but the engraved numbers are hidden by the bracelet
where it
attaches. To view the engraved Model and Serial Numbers on your watch, you need to have
a local watch repair professional detach the bracelet from the watch case.
The Model Number is engraved on the side of the case where the bracelet attaches at 12
o'clock. The Serial Number is engraved on the side of the case where the bracelet
attaches at 6 o'clock. The Serial Number consists of a single letter
followed by six numbers. We need at least this first letter of the Serial
Number to determine the approximate year the watch was manufactured.
How should the watch be shipped?
Only ship watches to the address we provide with your quote. Make a copy of the watch warranty certificate or keep a record of
the watch model and serial numbers prior to shipping it. We are not
responsible for watches lost or damaged in transit to us.
- US Postal Service "Registered Mail" with Full Insurance is the
safest way to ship a Rolex watch, but Registered Mail is also the
slowest method and cannot be tracked as easily as UPS or FedEx.
- UPS is reliable, fast, and safe, and will usually allow you to fully insure the watch. We recommend
using their Next Day Air service for the simple reason that the less
time they have your watch, the less chance there is that something could
happen to it.
- FedEx is highly reliable, fast, and safe, but they limit the amount
that you can insure wristwatches to $500.
Doing business in person?
There are locations in New York, Miami, and Southern California where you can drop off your watch.
Your watch will be inspected, and you can receive payment on the spot. If
you wish to drop off your watch in person, indicate so in the comments
section of the form below.
Is the quote guaranteed?
We are almost always able to provide accurate quotes based on the
information requested in our online quote request form. However, we cannot completely guarantee a
quote until we are able to physically inspect the watch. For the
extremely rare circumstance where it is determined that the watch we
receive is not as described or worth less than the value we quoted, we
reserve the right to promptly return the watch to you at no cost to you.
We may also, at our discretion, give you the option of accepting a
lesser payment for the watch.
Counterfeit or Stolen Merchandise?
If we receive counterfeit or stolen merchandise we will turn over
the merchandise, and all correspondence related to the merchandise, to the
appropriate authorities. If you are uncertain about the authenticity of
your watch, we recommend that you bring it to a local watch repair
professional for inspection prior to shipping it to us.
