The Breguet Watch Company

Breguet is a Swiss manufacturer of luxury watches, founded by Abraham-Louis Breguet in Paris in 1775. He was a pioneer of numerous watch-making technologies, the most notable being the tourbillon watch movement. Breguet watches are recognized by their coin-edge cases, guilloche dials and blue pomme hands. King Louis XVI bought several of his self-winding watches and Marie Antoinette commissioned a watch that was to contain every watch function known at that time. Breguet is currently part of The Swatch Group and its timepieces are now manufactured in the Vallee de Joux in Switzerland. For Men current styles include: Classique (both simple and grandes), La Tradition Retrograde, Marine Water-resistant with crown guards, Tonneau Heritage and Type XX, XXI, XXII – sports chronographs, based on World War II-era pilots' watches.Ladies designs include; Classique, Marine, Heritage, Type XX and the special Reine de Naples (inspired by an early bracelet watch Breguet created for Napoleon Bonaparte's sister Caroline, the Queen of Naples). The Queen of Naples watch is available in 18K rose, yellow and white gold with various amounts of jewels and diamonds, has an automatic movement and can feature Power Reserve and Moonphase complications.
